All football fans have one dream: to see their team win the Superbowl!
It’s a long journey to get there, though, and it begins with qualifying for the playoffs, which is a battle in itself.
If winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy and seeing Rihanna perform live wasn’t enough motivation to make the playoffs, the Chicago Bears now have even more weight on their shoulders, as fans have been promised free hot dogs if the team makes the playoffs this year.
There are going to be a lot of disappointed and hungry fans if the Chicago-based team doesn’t manage to pull it off.
They have had a fairly good start, beating the Texans and 49ers, with a loss to the Packers sandwiched in between both games.
However, they have got a tough task on their hands, as the Vikings and Packers look good this season so far.
Still, there are many, many games left to be played.
Get your free hot dogs!
A hot dog restaurant in Chicago known as The Wiener’s Circle has said that they will give Bear fans free “char dogs” if their team manages to make the playoffs this year.
They tweeted the following on the 11th of September:
The rain hasn’t stopped us or da @ChicagoBears. Free char dogs before the first playoff game, let’s do this! https://t.co/dhSrlAp2VI pic.twitter.com/gP4COwTA1w
— The Wieners Circle (@TheWienerCircle) September 11, 2022
The renowned restaurant posted the offer on a sign outside of their eatery, and they also posted a Tweet to let fans know about their generous and tasty proposal.
After all, what better way to celebrate the playoffs than with a hot dog, right?

You can also get a Double Dog, which is two dogs in one bun.

- and much more
They also have a great selection of draft beer, cans, mixed drinks, and booze-free options.

A free hot dog = a fitting treat in Chicago
There is no denying that hot dogs have become America’s favorite treat, with 95 percent of American households serving hot dogs. However, hot dogs do have a special place in the hearts of those living in Chicago.
The hot dog has remained popular because eating one is a shareable tradition amongst families across the city. Everyone has their most loved hot dog stand.
Plus, we all know about the famous Chicago-style hot dogs that have become popular worldwide today.
Could there be a better reward for Chicago Bears fans?
What are the odds of the Chicago Bears getting through the playoffs?
There is no denying that the Chicago Bears have a tough task on their hands, as the Packers and Vikings have looked great so far, and it is still way too early to rule out the Lions.
However, with The Bears being one of the most successful franchises in football, winning one Super Bowl and eight NFL championships, they do know what success looks like.
Sadly, the Bears did not make it to the playoffs last year, as the Packers won the North conference, and they could not take a wild card spot. In fact, no team from the NFC North took one of the three wild card positions, as they went to the Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and Arizona Cardinals.
The Chicago Bears would have been slightly disappointed in the end, winning six games and 11, which put them third in the table. They will need to do better this season if they are to get through to the playoffs.
However, with two wins already, they are a third of the way to their overall winning margin for last season, so there is some great optimism there.
Hot dogs are perfect for Superbowl parties
The Superbowl may seem far, far into the future, but it will be here before you know it!
A lot of people like to host Superbowl parties on the night, gathering their friends and serving some great game snacks.
Of course, hot dogs are a must on the menu.
Chili cheese dogs always go down a treat, and you may want to serve hot dogs based on the team you support; for example, these Detroit Coney Dogs are perfect for Detroit Lions fans, and New York Giants fans will love our New York Street Cart Hot Dogs.
You do not have to wait until the Superbowl to embrace hot dog-themed football parties. This is a great way to have fun with friends while watching games together throughout the season.
After all, every state and city across the US likes to do their hot dogs a certain way, so why not tweak what’s on the menu based on the game you’re watching?
Can the Bears do it?
Will the Bears get to the playoffs?
Will Chicago fans be tucking into free hot dogs while celebrating their team’s success?
We sure hope so! When free hot dogs are involved, we’re all for it!
There is a long way to go before the playoffs are decided, but there is no denying that the Chicago Bears have a little extra motivation now.
We wonder if any other cities will follow suit and offer free food for fans if their team can get one step closer to the Superbowl!
